TSFC Relaunch: 2022, We're Ready for You!

Let's face it, 2021 was a challenging year for most, and T-Shirts for Change was no exception. The brand almost closed down earlier this year, but with new ownership and a new team on board, we're happy that we have been able to keep it going. T-Shirts for Change stands for what is good – for the people, and for the planet – and it would have been a shame to see it end.

But in order for T-Shirts for Change to be a successful brand that contributes to the community and has a positive impact on the environment, we have had to take a closer look at exactly what it is we believe in, and how we can translate that into a fashion brand that benefits the earth and its people.

Well, it's safe to say that the new T-Shirts for Change team is going all in on this, and with the launch of a new store in the UK, we are so excited for what 2022 has to hold!

One of our main goals for 2022 is to get more involved with local charities and NPOs. T-Shirts for Change originally started as a once-off fundraising project for a women's shelter, and we certainly plan on holding onto the belief that we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to make a positive change in our world. The way we plan on doing this is twofold – through garment designs and branding, we hope to bring awareness on social justice and climate issues. For example, our design “Human.Kind” design is a reminder to consider those around us, and to always act with kindness wherever possible, because after all, we are all only human. The designs are printed on ethically and sustainably made garments. On the flip side of that, a portion of profits raised through sales of our garments go towards hands-on charity work and events, awareness campaigns, and NPO donations.

At the end of the day, the garments we produce are made to look good, feel good, and do good. Fashion with a purpose, if you will.

We will also be focusing on sustainable wholesale printing services in the UK. That means that business and brands can work with TSFC to get their logo or branding printed on ethically made garments, with an option to use water-based inks that are cruelty-free and environmentally-friendly for printing. In SA, we also offer wholesale RE-Wear T-shirts. Our RE-Wear tees are made from 50% cotton and 50% recycled polyester, and you can read more about them here.

Now, a lot of this is definitely easier said than done. We acknowledge that the fashion industry is one of the biggest contributors to climate change, which is why we aim to take the necessary actions to be as sustainable as possible. Over time, we may learn that certain techniques we use to manufacture our garments are not as sustainable as we once thought, but we plan to learn, grow, and adapt as needed. Certain external factors may be out of our control, but it is our responsibility to take a conscious approach to the way we make and sell our garments.

Get ready for a new website, new designs, more collaboration, and a stronger community, ready to make a difference in ways big and small!

We are so grateful for those who have continued to support T-Shirts for Change, and look forward to the new relationships we'll be forming with our community in this next chapter.

Happy Holidays, #TSFCommunity!
